CONCERNING
THE SETTING OF CUSTOMS TARIFF OF IMPORTED SUGAR

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE,

Considering:

• a. that to stabilize domestic sugar prices by paying attention to consumer interests, it is necessary to set the customs tariffs of imported sugar;
• b. that based on the consideration in letter a, to implement provisions in Article 12 paragraph (3) of Law No. 10/1995 concerning Customs that is amended by Law No. 17/2006, it is necessary to stipulate a Regulation of the Minister of Finance on the Setting of Customs Tariffs of Imported sugar;

In view of:

• 1. Law No. 10/1995 concerning Customs (Statute Book No. 75/1995, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3612) that is amended by Law No. 17/2006 (Statute Book No. 93/2006, Supplement to Statute Book No. 4661);
• 2. Presidential Decision No. 20/P/2005;
• 3. Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 10/PMK.010/2006 concerning the System of Classifying Goods and of Charging Customs Tariffs to Imported Goods that is several times amended the latest by Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 233/PMK011/2008;

HAS DECIDED:

To stipulate:

REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE CONCERNING SETTING OF CUSTOMS TARIFFS OF IMPORTED SUGAR.

Article 1

The Minister of Finance shall set the customs tariffs of imported sugar as set forth in Attachment to this Regulation of the Minister of Finance, which is an integral part of this Regulation of the Minister of Finance.

Article 2

This Regulation of the Minister of Finance shall apply to the import of goods whose customs notifications have received registration numbers, from the Customs Office at the port of entry at the time this Regulation of the Minister of Finance comes into force.

Article 3

When this Regulation of the Minister of Finance comes into force, provisions on customs tariffs as provided for in Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 110/PMK.011/2006 on the System of Classifying Goods and of Charging Customs Tariffs to Imported Goods that is several times amended the latest by Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 233/PMK.011/2008, provided they govern the products as referred to in Attachment to this Regulation of the Minister of Finance, shall be declared null and void when this Regulation of the Minister of Finance takes effect.

Article 4

This Regulation of the Minister of Finance shall come into force from October 1 to December 31, 2009.

For public cognizance, this Regulation of the Minister of Finance shall be promulgated by placing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
